Jayme Gooding

Founder & Lead Guide

Jayme Gooding

Jayme Gooding is an author, faith-based life transition coach, ordained minister, and founder of The Emergence Effect™. Her heart is for women navigating life's difficult transitions, especially the uncertain space between what was and what can be, a place she calls the Hard Middle.

Her years of ministry, coaching, facilitating, and walking alongside women through seasons of change, loss, healing, and new beginnings have shaped the way she approaches this work. Jayme creates space for women to be honest about where they are, without minimizing what they have experienced, while helping them recognize what Jesus may be doing within them in the Hard Middle, the in-between, that place between what was and what can be.

Her approach brings together biblical truth, intentional conversation, practical tools, and compassionate guidance. She believes transformation does not require you to have everything figured out. It does not even require everything around you to change first. Sometimes transformation begins when something within you begins to change.

Jayme is the author of Light the Path: Insights for Navigating Life's Tough Transitions and the creator of the Becoming frameworks and tools that help women recognize where they are, reconnect with truth, and take their next faithful step.

At the heart of her work is a simple reminder:
You are not stuck. You are becoming.

Rashieda Kay

Guide

Rashieda Kay

Rashieda Kay is a licensed minister, mentor, motivator, and women's wellness advocate. Her passion for empowering women has been shaped and sharpened through decades of ministry experience and the changing seasons of life.

Throughout her journey, Rashieda has poured into women through social gatherings, small groups, authentic conversations, conferences, and other spaces created for connection and encouragement. Her experience has also included co-hosting the Women of Wellness podcast. Through My Sister's Keeper, a social platform, she helped create opportunities for women to be heard, encouraged, strengthened, and reminded of who they are in Christ.

Rashieda brings a warm and delightful presence to The Emergence Effect™. As a Guide, she walks alongside women as they navigate the Hard Middle, the in-between, that place between what was and what can be, creating space for honest reflection, meaningful conversation, and recognition of Jesus' involvement in the process.

Her heart is not to provide all the answers, but to encourage women as they listen, reflect, grow, and embrace the ongoing journey of becoming who God has called them to be.

Why We Guide

You do not have to navigate the Hard Middle alone.

We believe there is something powerful about having a safe place to be seen, heard, encouraged, and challenged while navigating the Hard Middle.

As your guides, we are not here to determine who you should become or to do the transforming work for you. We are here to walk alongside you, create room for honest conversation, offer biblical truth and practical tools, and help you recognize your next faithful step while Jesus does the transforming work.
